Allen holds two Masters degrees from Liberty University, one in Human Services Counseling with a concentration in Marriage and Family Counseling, the other in Exercise and Nutrition.
Patricia also holds a Masters degree from Liberty University in Pastoral Counseling.
Both are certified and credentialed through AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors), are certified SYMBIS and Prepare and Enrich Facilitators. They are both active in their church, Centerpoint Community Church, in worship and women's ministries.
They are both ordained ministers and are qualified to conduct pre-marriage counseling which fulfills the requirements for Georgia State Marriage Licenses and qualifies them to officiate marriage ceremonies.

Paraclete, Inc. is a fully recognized 501(c)3 non-profit co-founded by Allen and Patricia Cooke. Paraclete provides counseling and mentoring services free of charge. The name "Paraclete" is taken from a Greek word which means "one who walks beside" or "one called to the side of another".
Paraclete was begun out of a passion for hurting people and struggling couples. Allen and Patricia felt led to establish Paraclete and to take the biggest obstacle to counseling, the cost, out of the way.

Our focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths as well as their indentity in Christ. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan which includes counseling techniques and implementing Christian disciplines.
All counseling is Christian and Bible based. Prayer and scripture are vital tools in our ministry.
